This Privacy Policy describes how toki ("we", "our", or "the app") handles your information when you use our mobile application and our browser extension (new tab replacement for Chrome).

Information We Collect

toki is designed to work on your device. We (studio itto) do not operate servers and do not collect any personal data ourselves. All app and extension settings — including your preferences — are stored locally on your device. The mobile app does not contain advertising, in-app purchases, analytics, or any in-app revenue features.

Third-Party Services

The browser extension uses one third-party service, listed below. Any data it handles is governed by its own privacy policy, not ours.

• Chrome search API (browser extension): the extension's search box hands your query to your browser's default search engine via the Chrome search API. We do not read, store, or transmit the query ourselves.

Data Storage & Security

All app and extension settings and preferences are stored locally on your device (on your device's storage for the app, and in browser storage for the extension). No personal data is transmitted to our servers, as we do not operate any.

Your Choices

• Data Deletion: Uninstalling the app or removing the browser extension will remove all locally stored data from your device.

Children's Privacy

toki is suitable for users of all ages. We do not collect personal information from any user. The mobile app does not display advertising. The browser extension contains no advertising and does not collect data.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
